Age 29

Physical Appearance

Height 174cm
Weight 70kg

Eye Color Brown
Physical Description Bradley is, as far as appearances are concerned, almost entirely average. He isn't particularly tall, he isn't particularly well built, and he isn't especially handsome. He takes relatively good care of himself, and he's in decent shape, but no one would call him particularly athletic, either.

His fashion sense is almost entirely non-existant, but that's not really a problem because it's rare to see him outside of a labcoat, except of course when he's wearing some form of even heavier protective equipment. On the rare occasions when he does dress casually, he's generally seen wearing some ghastly coloured shirt with entirely mismatched pants, and the exact same pair of sneakers he's worn for the past 8 years.

Personality & Traits

General Overview Bradley is, without putting to fine a point on it, an enormous nerd. He lacks any real social skills and he doesn't have any time at all for military discipline or any more than the most cursory attention to manners, but if you manage to get him talking about one of his passions it becomes rather difficult to get him to shut up.

Underneath the stammering and the social ineptitude, though, he has a good heart, always willing to lend a helping hand if it's needed, however hesitantly. He's deeply driven, too, pursuing his work with a single-minded devotion that often leads to impressive results in a surprisingly short timeframe, but that can seem somewhat off-putting, and even a little intimidating at times.
Strengths & Weaknesses +Bona fide genius in the fields of Mechatronics, Electronics and Computer Programming, and a master in most other Engineering fields
+Kind, reliable, and loyal to his friends

+/- Deeply passionate about his work, sometimes to the exclusion of all else
+/- A bit of a trickster. His pranks are harmless fun, but they have been known to get unnecesarily elaborate, and occasionally to distract him from his work, though he wouldn't let them get in the way of anything important.

- Very little concept of military discipline
- Social anxiety when he has to deal with things outside his area of expertise
Ambitions Bradley has already fulfilled most of his ambitions; now he just wants to do his part, and enjoy life. Perhaps working on a highly classified military base wouldn't classify as enjoying life for most people, but it scratches his itches just fine. Perhaps he could get better at people along the way too, though.
Hobbies & Interests Basically, he just loves doing his job. When he isn't doing his job, he's almost always tinkering with some secret project or other, or writing a program to perform some arcane function for no particular reason other than that he can. He does, however, rather enjoy reading, watching, and writing science fiction of questionable quality.

Personal History It was obvious from the start that Bradley was a prodigy. Born in Boston, to an Engineer and a painter, he cruised through school with barely any effort, acing every test he ever sat in a STEM field. His humanities were a little on the weak side, but he didn't care to put much effort into them, and no one really pushed him all that much; there didn't seem to be any need for it, when it was obvious from the begining where his life was taking him.

With so little effort required for his education, he was free to pursue his own interests a lot of the time, and by the time he graduated High School he was already building robots as a hobby, often designed specifically to cause mischief. He seemed to take an absolute delight in pranking people with his designs, but he never had any malivious intent; to him, the purest form of joy was when one of his targets could laugh with him at the fruits of his labour, since it was a way for him to make people happy despite his crippling social anxiety.

It was practically a given that he would attend the local college, and, true to expectations, he sailed into MIT with flying colours. What he found there, though, changed his life. He had never really known anyone who shared his passions, but here was a whole campus full of them! None quite as brilliant as him, perhaps, but almost all passionate, intelligent, and willing to accept him, flaws and all. Not to mention often sharing his enthusiasm for elaborate, technology based pranks.

His time at university moulded and refined him, and when he finally left, two doctorates later, he was ready to take on the world. Just two years later he approached Lockheed Martin with an AI-guidance system that outperformed everything they had by fifty percent, which they proceeded to buy off him for a truly staggering amount of money, along with the offer of a job.

It didn't take him much longer than that to rise to a senior position in their research and developement team, where he found himself in charge of reverse engineering and application of alien technology left behind from the attack. When the Antarctic base went looking for R&D personel, his familiarity with the alien technology made him an obvious choice, and the fact that he already had top secret clearance was just the icing on the cake.
