Personal History | Cameron was born in Seattle, an only child. Growing up his parents were not really interested in him, they were there but not present. This had led him to a life of wanting validation from people. He acted out when he was younger looking for ways to get the attention of his parents, and ended up looking for that validation, that attention in other places when he did not get it. He matured slightly earlier than most males in his high school and used that to his advantage in trying to fill the void he felt but now started to ignore. He got good grades, was part of the football team and won a scholarship. However he decided that the US Naval Academy was where he wanted to go. See the world, learn new things, find some of what he was looking for. Cam specialised in psychology and linguistics. In 2017 he retired from the Navy and began working in the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. He spent many happy years there making a difference in the community before being approached to join the SGC. A new and exciting endeavour that he just couldn't pass up on. |
