Mission: Jumping Right In
Location: Aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, Pursian Gulf
Timeline: Current
553 words - 1.1 OF Standard Post Measure

After being recalled to USS Theodore Roosevelt, and sitting in the Captain's wardroom, for what seemed to him like hours a major from the office of air force intelligence walked. “Petty officer Renfroe, Your skill will benefit a top-secret operation that the air force overseas, I’m here to ensure you meet the requirements for the security clearance, and you will not pose a security risk to the project.” the major said coldly.

Samuel Scoffed “Security clearance I already have top secret clearance, I’ve been with 2 Seal teams for god sake, not to mention Force recon units, and the marine raiders, what is chair force got you'll need medic for Air force one or something.” he said in a southern drawl.

The Major glared at Chair force remark,” Nothing as public as that petty officer, but I do have a few questions to ask to make sure you don’t pose a security risk to the program., let's get started shall we.” After several hours of intense questions, Samuel was more than a little irritated

“Are you almost done Major, some of us have actual work to do, not secret squirrel bull shit,” Samuel said bluntly

“I’ve no more questions.” The major said as reviewed the notes he had taken during the interview/interrogation. “Wait here petty officer I got make a call and then I’ll be back.” with that the major turned and left.

~Oh joy if he comes back with more questions, I’ve got to find a way to speed this along and get back to the boys in Recon on Ground.~ Samuel thought to himself

After about 20 minutes the Major returned, holding a rather large file. “Congrats petty officer you've been reassigned, your new orders, and preliminary briefing on your new assignment are all right here, a C2 greyhound will land shortly to take you to Ramstein Airforce base, and from there you’ll take a C-130 to McMurdo Station Antarctica,” he said as handed Samuel the file.

Samuel saluted the major, and headed off to his quarters to pack his things, he just buckled and locked his second seabag when an announcer came over the ship intercom “Petty officer Renfroe report to the Flight on the double.”

He grabbed his sea bags, garment bag, and suitcase and headed to the flight deck as quickly as he was able, and boarded the C2 Greyhound. The Catapult launched the aircraft into the air Samuel took the opportunity to start reading up on new assignments on the hour and a half from the PersuaianGulf to Germany as reading he was taken aback the stargate program was like nothing he had ever seen before he hoped he was up to the challenge. As the C2 touched down at Ramstein Air force base Samuel disembarked and with all his bags and suitcase in tow doubled times across the field to a waiting C-130 and boarded it. As the C-130 took and headed for Antarctica he continued to read up on the brief he had been provided several hours later the C-130 touched in Anticardia. Samuel disembarked, threw his bag into the waiting jeep, and hopped in himself, and it sped off to a nearby outpost Samuel nodded and grabbed his thing, and quickly went inside to escape the bitter cold.
