The discussion amongst the council became more frantic as the outpost was rocked by what could only be assumed to be a light aerial bombardment. Nothing more than a quick dusting, a warning shot if ever there was one. The Goa'uld were toying with the Valkyrie. As the council bustled with talk, Brennan moved toward Raynor for a sidebar.

"Colonel, I recommend we offer to assist these guys," The navy Lieutenant said. "It sounds like we'll be engaging the Goa'uld no matter what, so it'll be a running firefight to the gate either way. We may as well prove our metal."

"Agreed," John replied as he gathered with his folk while the council had started discussing tactics with themselves. "But we can't do anything without our gear. Give me a moment, would y'all." With that, he walked over to the Valkyrian Counsel. It didn't take long before he had gotten the chance to speak with the group.

Samuel's head was still spinning that was his first trip through the gate, and he was already starting to question, what was myth and and was in fact intervention of ETs

"We have to do something" Carter said over the din of the bombardment. "We can't sit here to debate this, Let me take SG3 and get to the Gate. We can at least give an assessment once we get in range!" Amy Carter did not like sticking around when there was something she could do, It seemed to her that the Goa'uld wanted prisoners, otherwise they would have just hit them from orbit.

"Colonel, please" she pleaded.

Raiden had just returned back to his group and was quickly stopped by Major Carter. Couldn't really blame her for wanting to go do something and not sit on her hands. Hell he was thinking the very same thing. But he knew that they had to respect their wishes.

"Well you got your wish. But its not without restrictions. Can't blame them as much as we can't blame ourselves. Major, take your team and any other volunteers and go get our gear. My team will stay behind and assist with the counsel and personal evacuation. They use ring transports in which sounds to be about a quarter of a click away from the stargate. They didn't want to have it close to make it easy for them to find. Clear the way, and get their people through the gate first. Then we worry about our people. This is our chance to prove who we are. Oh and you will be working with their security team as well but no say on them. So you will be watched. Any questions?"

Samuel overheard the conversation and after some thought and internal debate about where he would be most needed. He volunteered to go with the Lieutenant.

“I’ll stay here and help” Scarlett looked towards Raynor. “It’s the least any of us can do.”

From where she was Sienna got to her feet, she’d been pretty quiet up until now studying all those around her and listening to the language. “I can help, my people are warriors we aren’t afraid to fight!”

From where she was, Sienna got to her feet. She had been pretty quiet up until now, studying all those around her and listening to the language. “I can help. My people are warriors; we aren’t afraid to fight.”

With a hastily formed team, Major Carter led SG-3 toward the ring transports, Samuel in tow. The bombardment continued sporadically, a constant reminder of the urgency of their mission. As they navigated through the unfamiliar outpost, Samuel couldn't help but marvel at the alien architecture. It was a stark contrast to the military precision of Stargate Command.

Back at the outpost, Raynor gathered the remaining members of SG-1 and SG-2. Scarlett, Chambers, and Sienna stood ready, eyes fixed on Raynor for guidance. The tension in the air was palpable as the Valkyrian Council deliberated their next move.

"Listen up," Raynor addressed his team, his tone firm. "Major Carter and her team are fetching our gear. Our mission is to ensure the safety and evacuation of the Valkyrian Council and their people. We've got to show these folks what SG teams are made of. Scarlett, Chambers, you're with me. Sienna, stay close to the Council; your warrior background might come in handy. Let's move out."

As they ventured deeper into the outpost, Raynor couldn't shake the feeling that this mission would be a defining moment in their exploration of the stargate programs continued run. The constant threat of the Goa'uld hung in the air, urging them to act swiftly and decisively.

The bombardment intensified, sending shockwaves through the outpost. SG-1 pressed on, determined to prove themselves in this unfamiliar territory. The fate of both Earth and the Valkyrie rested on their shoulders, and every step brought them closer to the heart of the conflict.

With Major Carter and SG-3 racing against time to retrieve their gear, the Stargate activation sequence began. The event horizon shimmered to life, offering a gateway back to the familiar halls of Stargate Command. The Valkyrian Council, anxious but determined, urged SG-1 forward.

Raynor led the charge through the Stargate, emerging on the other side with Scarlett, Chambers, and Sienna. The contrast was immediate. The icy chill of Antarctica was replaced by the familiar hum of the SGC's underground facility. Yet, this was no time for comfort; they had a mission to complete. He looked up at the command hub before looking around the room at the defense teams in place.

“Stand down, do not fire. We have guests!” Colonel Raynor ordered as he raised his hands mid way as to get their attention.

“Colonel, what is going on?” General Lockhart called out as he stood on the opposite side of the glass wall above.

“We found them, as ordered. The Valkyrie. But the Goa’uld were looking for them as well.”

There was weapons fire that burst through the active stargate before the general nodded. “Weapons hot, but hold fire unless the colonel orders.”

With a nod, John got down from the ramp and tapped one of the soldier’s for their side arm, and took position at the base of the ramp before tapping his radio. “Major Carter, you are clear, get them through the gate, NOW!”

Back in the Valkyrian outpost, the bombardment showed no signs of abating. The council members and remaining personnel huddled together, seeking refuge from the chaos outside. Among them, Brennan observed the scene with a mixture of concern and determination. He knew that their best hope lay with SG-1 and the assistance they could bring.

With their Earth-based gear now in hand, Major Carter and SG-3, though a bit battered and bruised, hustled back to the Stargate. The Valkyrian outpost awaited, its fate hanging in the balance.

"Let's get these folks home," she replied with a determined nod. The team members stood poised for the mission ahead. In a flash, the event horizon enveloped SG-3, transporting them back to the Valkyrian outpost.

On the other side, the team encountered the aftermath of the bombardment. Smoke lingered in the air, and debris covered the ground. The Valkyrian personnel, grateful for SG-3's return, hurried to collect their belongings and prepare for evacuation.

Major Carter assessed the situation, her eyes reflecting a mix of relief and concern. "We've got casualties. We need to move quickly and efficiently."

Together, SG-3 and the Valkyrian security team orchestrated a methodical evacuation plan. The ring transports were deployed to transport personnel to the Stargate, ensuring a swift and orderly departure.

As the evacuation unfolded, the remaining SG teams guarded the Stargate and provided support. The Goa'uld, sensing the impending exodus, intensified their attacks. The Valkyrian outpost echoed with the sounds of combat, and casualties mounted on both sides.

Back at the SGC, the control room buzzed with activity. General Lockhart monitored the situation, his concern evident. The fate of the Valkyrian outpost and the success of SG teams hung in the balance.

Through the chaos, the SG teams fought valiantly, ensuring the safe passage of the Valkyrian people through the Stargate. The casualties were a harsh reminder of the dangers they faced, but none of the major characters fell in the line of duty.

Finally, as the last of the evacuees stepped through the Stargate, Major Carter signaled to SG-3. The team swiftly retreated through the event horizon, leaving the besieged Valkyrian outpost behind. The Stargate deactivated, and a solemn silence settled over the control room. The Valkyrian outpost, battered but not broken, faded from view.

There was a long hissing that came from the gear attached to the Tau’ri’s stargate and stopped as quickly as it started. The base commander’s voice spoke, echoing through the gate room.

“SG teams, welcome back. As for our Valkyrian guests. Welcome to Earth. I have no doubt we all have some discussions to be had. But for now, we will get you settled in and whatever else we can possibly provide,” the general spoke before leaving his position up top, he nodded to Colonel Raynor.

“You are among friends, Let’s get you settled in.”

Fade out...
